During lockdown last year Moe was put on furlough – and like many people, suddenly had a lot more time on his hands. Despite enjoying the extra time with his children, he was keen to seize the opportunity to explore his passions and ideas. An idea was born after an Instagram hunt for a pair of limited Nike Air Jordan’s. After having to pay double the price for them, Moe began to wonder if other people had found themselves in a similar position when searching for sought-after or limited-edition sneakers. From this, the idea of Mooky Kickz was hatched. 18 months on, it is a successful business operating through eBay’s Sneaker Authenticity Guarantee Programme.
Bosede Accessories
Helen Adekalu runs her jewellery and accessories business from her home in London, with 100% of her sales coming from her successful eBay shop, Bosede Accessories. Helen decided to sell her range of African inspired jewellery and accessories after becoming tired of always having to pay high prices for the product she wanted, and not being able to source them from mainstream jewellery retailers.
